Natural Dye Journey

Natural Dye Journey is a sustainable brand exploring plant-based colors, traditional techniques, and mindful textile practices.

Project Overview:

Natural dyeing is my passionate side project. I started learning it 6 years ago. I love the process of natural dying, from extracting the colors to dying the fabrics by hand. For this reason, I decided to make my own brand. I designed a logo for the brand, as well as  different patterns and dyeing kit for starters.

I hope I can deliver this sustainable idea to more people.After few months of learning and craft market experiences, people starting to invite me to teach. I managed a lot of workshops and tought why we should get to know the natural colors and how to make natural ink.

Here is how we did it:

Fast fashion is the second dirtiest industry in the world. It poses health and environmental risks that can and should not be ignored.
I also designed silk printing patterns for applying natural ink.
With NDJ , I do not only want to provide a more sustainable alternative to fast fashion, but also highlight the origins and uses of natural colours.
I strived to find second hand white clothes or fabrics to make transformation.
